As Beaverton's Lions Club president, I am honoured to lead our dedicated volunteers as we strive to make our community better. Our projects are aimed to improve our community's services and resources. Our annual activities are designed to raise funds and have fun together.  I look forward to a great year!

Our club is made up of dedicated men and women from our community. We are always interested in welcoming new members who share our enthusiasm to support and improve our community. If you are interested in joining lions, please seek out one of our members for more information.

P.D.G James McDougall Memorial Bursary

This five hundred dollar bursary recognizes the contributions of Mr. James McDougall to his community. As an outstanding member of the Beaverton Lions' Club he lived its motto "We Serve". The recipient of this bursary should reflect the character, imagination and contributions of Mr. McDougall. It is presented to a student residing in the village of Beaverton or the former Township of Thorah, who demonstrates the spirit of volunteerism and community pride.
